SEEMS cooperates with  partners from the Academia, Research Centers, and Commercial Sector to co-submit and implement research proposals in European and National calls, towards the co-development of new and innovative digital technology.  SEEMS R&D interests are mainly focused on the areas of Industrial Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Machine Vision, Big Data & Analytics, Robotics, Remote Monitoring, and Edge Computing. 

Responsibilities   

• Management and implementation of R&D projects.  

• Contribution to the conception and preparation of research proposals, from identifying EU and National funding opportunities, develop new ideas to form and handle multidisciplinary consortia. 

• Tracking progress via a detailed project plan. 

• Preparation of reports and deliverables, respecting deadlines. 

• Communication with project partners. 

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. 

• Representation of the company in project meetings and relevant events. 

• Comprehensive project documentation and reporting. 

• Participation in scientific and/or business publications. 

 Requirements   

• BSc/MSc in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Information/Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.  

• Experience in the preparation of research proposals and in the project management of national and European R&D projects. 

• Extensive experience with MS Office tools. 

• Writing and editing skills. 

• Strong organizational and presentation skills. 

• Excellent communication skills. 

• Agility and team spirit. 

• Willingness to take initiative and motivation to drive results. 

• Ability to negotiate and cooperate with international partners.  

• Very good planning and time-management skills.
